This issue includes articles about water quality programs being conducted by researchers, specialists, and educators to make quite a splash with people across the state, proving that it is possible to meet the many demands placed on Oklahoma's water resources in ways that are both economically viable and environmentally friendly. Outstanding teachers and programs in the nationally known OSU's Food and Ag Processing Center also are featured.

Today, scientific and technological advances are helping Oklahoma to diversify its agricultural base, resulting in new prospects for community growth and prosperity, while also providing opportunities to enhance environmental stewardship needed to protect and sustain the state's natural resources. Stories include OSU's nationally recognized bermudagrass program, Oklahoma Proven, insect research, Oklahoma Quality Beef Network, and the Agribility program and many others.
